This is where I can show the progress of the layout construction. This used to be a single page, and was getting rather large. To make it easier to find only recent changes, it's now broken down by year.
That's a work train. The gondolas are loaded with tools and parts. Right behind the engine is a track cleaning car. Since this picture was taken a tunnel has been added, the track off the switch leads to an industrial section, another large bed was added just to the left, etc.
Here’s the same scene a couple of years later. The tunnel is in, the switch now leads to an industrial area, and a retaining wall has been added.
